ENCORE
ENCORE starts from an observation. Many structures exist around disability. What is still missing are spaces for living, not only for being taken care of.
ENCORE is conceived, built and led by disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill people. The people concerned are not only the recipients of the project. They also decide what gets built.
The project aims to strengthen our capacity to act, to make visible presences that are too often ignored, and to shift the way disability is perceived.
It does not have a physical space yet. The venue is under construction. The project itself is already alive in Brussels, through events, encounters and experiments.
